Students engaged in therapy who can talk with their C&PS therapist if they are interested in psychotropic medication can talk with their therapistas a part of the student's care. Where appropriate and the student is willing, the student's , a C&PS therapist can refer the a willing student to meet with our psychiatric provider for an evaluation to discuss medication and whether it might be an appropriate and beneficial part of component to the student's care. Appointments psychiatric care are offered at no cost to enrolled students. 

Students who are appropriate for psychotropic medication would present with signs and symptoms that meet DSM-5 criteria and which impact the student's functioning. Psychiatric services are reserved for students concurrently engaged in therapy at C&PS. Students who are not interested in concurrent, coordinated treatment, or who are not otherwise eligible for psychiatric services at C&PS, will be provided with a list referrals to community providers.
