Fairfield University official diplomas undergraduate and certificates graduate diplomas are 11" x 8.5" and have a gold seal. Doctoral diplomas are 14" x 11" and have a gold seal.
May Graduates
Graduating students may pick up their diplomas immediately following the Commencement ceremony (as indicated below). They may also be picked up throughout the following week at the Registrar's Office in the Kelley Center during business hours.

Any diplomas not picked up by the end of the week will be mailed to the address provided on the student's graduation application. Diplomas will be mailed after Memorial Day.
January and August Graduates
January diplomas will be mailed in early February and August diplomas will be mailed in early to mid-September.
Mailing Details
Diplomas are shipped via standard first class mail. There is no tracking information available. Diplomas will be mailed to the address provided on the student's graduation application. If a student moves, it is their responsibility to notify the Registrar's Office that their diploma should be mailed to the new address. The University is not responsible for any lost or misdirected mail.
CeDiplomas
Fairfield University now offers Certified Electronic Diplomas for students who graduated in May 2019 or later. There is a $12.95 fee for this service. Please see our website for details.
Duplicate Diplomas
Replacement diplomas may be ordered online. There is a $25 fee. Orders are usually fulfilled within 1 to 2 weeks. Expedited FedEx delivery is available for an additional fee ($20 domestic / $50 international).
Please note that all replacement diplomas are 11” x 8.5” in size and have a gold seal. Duplicate diplomas will be certified with the signatures of the current University President and DeanEffective May 2024, Parchment produces and mails all paper diplomas and generates all electronic diplomas.
January diplomas will be mailed by March.
May diplomas will be mailed by late June.
August diplomas will be mailed by October.
