Lactation and Wellness Rooms
Fairfield University currently has multiple dedicated lactation and wellness rooms. All of these rooms are available for employees, students, and visitors.

Canisius Wellness Room
Location:Â Canisius - Third Floor (Room 300D)
Features: The wellness room is a designated, private area to be used to tend to personal/mental/emotional/physical health needs. This room can also be used as a place for caregivers to express breast milk. The room is not intended to be used for studying, phone calls, or work, and should not be used by anyone who is feeling sick or who may be contagious. The refrigerator should only be used for storage of breast milk and medications as necessary. The space is equipped with a lockable door, table and chairs, mini refrigerator, and electrical outlets.
Hours: Accessible at any time.
Reservations Needed?:Â No. Room is unlocked and available on a first come, first served basis.Â
DiMennna-Nyselius Library Lactation RoomÂ
Location: DiMennna-Nyselius Library - Lower Level (Room 122)Â
Features: A private space for caregivers to express breast milk. The space is equipped with a lockable door, a desk and adjustable chair, electrical outlets, mini refrigerator, and a restroom with a sink.Â
Hours: Accessible during Library building hours.
Reservations Needed?: Yes. Room reservations can be made online in 30 minute increments up to two months in advance. Please contact Blythe Josovitz in Human Resources (bjosovitz@fairfield.edu) for the link to the scheduling site.
Dolan School of Business Wellness Room
Location:Â Dolan School of Business - Third Floor (Room 302B)
Features: The wellness room is a designated, private area to be used to tend to personal/mental/emotional/physical health needs. This room can also be used as a place for caregivers to express breast milk. The room is not intended to be used for studying, phone calls, or work, and should not be used by anyone who is feeling sick or who may be contagious. The refrigerator should only be used for storage of breast milk and medications as necessary. The space is equipped with a lockable door, table and chairs, mini refrigerator, and electrical outlets.

Egan School of Nursing Wellness RoomÂ
Location:Â Egan School of Nursing - First Floor (Room 129)
Features: The wellness room is a designated, private area to be used to tend to personal/mental/emotional/physical health needs. This room can also be used as a place for caregivers to express breast milk. The room is not intended to be used for studying, phone calls, or work, and should not be used by anyone who is feeling sick or who may be contagious. The refrigerator should only be used for storage of breast milk and medications as necessary. The space is equipped with a lockable door, table and chairs, mini refrigerator, and electrical outlets.

Murphy Center, Dolan House Spiritual Guidance Rooms (for Wellness/Lactation purposes)Â
Location: Murphy Center, Dolan House, spiritual guidance rooms, suite 105 (any one of 3 rooms located when you walk in to the right).
Features: Private rooms with window coverings, outlets, lockable doors, chairs, and adjacent to a kitchen area with a refrigerator and sink.
Hours: Accessible during building hours. Dolan House is open M-F, 8:30am-4:30pm.
Reservations Needed? Yes. Contact Colleen Gilbertson at x.3468 or cgilbertson@fairfield.edu to reserve the room in advance. Room reservations are very busy during the academic year so advance notice is recommended. Room reservations are done in 30 minute increments.Â
Bellarmine Campus Wellness RoomÂ
Location:Â Bellarmine Campus Center (Room 108)
Features: The wellness room is a designated, private area to be used to tend to personal/mental/emotional/physical health needs. This room can also be used as a place for caregivers to express breast milk. The room is not intended to be used for studying, phone calls, or work, and should not be used by anyone who is feeling sick or who may be contagious. The refrigerator should only be used for storage of breast milk and medications as necessary. The space is equipped with a lockable door, table and chair, sink, cabinets with locks, mini refrigerator, and electrical outlets.

Fairfield Prep Care RoomÂ
Location:Â Fairfield Prep - Berchman Hall (Room B01A)
Features: The care room is a designated, private area to be used to tend to personal/mental/emotional/physical health needs. This room can also be used as a place for caregivers to express breast milk. The room is not intended to be used for studying, phone calls, or work, and should not be used by anyone who is feeling sick or who may be contagious. The refrigerator should only be used for storage of breast milk and medications as necessary. The space is equipped with a lockable door, privacy curtains, a chair, sink, mini refrigerator, and electrical outlets.
Hours: Accessible at any time.
Reservations Needed?:Â Yes. Prep employees should schedule the room using FMX, the room reservation software. For non-Prep employees, please contact Tamara Guarino, Director of Prep Facilities & Operations at tguarino@fairfieldprep.org or 203-254-4200 x. 2538.Â
