Reset Your Okta Password

If you have forgotten your password, you can try resetting it yourself by following the steps below. If you are unable to reset your password after following these steps, you can contact the ITS Help Desk by phone at 203-254-4069 or email at itshelpdesk@fairfield.edu

  1. Go to fairfieldedu.okta.com

  2. Enter your username then click Next.

  3. Click Forgot password?

  4. Click Send me an email. An email will be sent to your university email inbox and your personal email inbox with a link and a verification code. The personal email is based on the personal email on your Workday account.

  5. You can click Reset Password in your email and you will be brought to the page to enter a new password. If the link does not work, you can also make note of the code beneath the Reset Password option and click Enter a verification code instead on the password reset page to enter the verification code.

  1. Type in your new password and click Reset Password.
