Error with your New Mobile Phone Partnership


When setting up your Exchange account on a Moble Device, if you have set up your email on 10 devices beforehand, then you will receive the following email from Microsoft Outlook:

"You have 10 phone partnerships out of the maximum allowed 10 partnerships. After you reach the maximum, you can't create additional partnerships until you delete existing ones from your account. To do so, sign in to Outlook Web App, click Options > Phone > Mobile Phones, and delete any unused partnerships."


  1. Go to
  2. Check the box for "Use the light version of Outlook Web App"
  3. Click Options and click Mobile Phones.
  4. Check the devices that are no longer used and click Remove Device from List.
  5. Once you have removed 1 or more devices, you can then setup your Exchange account on a Moble Device.
