What is a Panic Attack?

A panic attack is an episode of sudden, intense anxiety. It often includes feelings of terror and dread for no apparent reason. Panic attacks are sudden and bring on specific physical and psychological symptoms. They can often reach peak intensity in just a few minutes.

Signs & Symptoms
