    1. Network Account (AD) -  is required to access the following:

      1. Exchange/Resource Account (i.e. Departmental Email account)

      2. Augustus/Network Folders

      3. Networked Printers

      4. VPN access

    2. Exchange - This is a request for an employee @fairfield.edu email account

  2. Why can’t I find an enrolled student when I search in the Select Student dialog?

    1. Only students without staff, faculty, or adjunct employment records can be selected through this dialog.

  3. Why isn’t one of my employees listed in the Select Your Staff dialog?

    1. Only employees whose Workday records lists you as their direct supervisor can be selected through this dialog.  If Workday does not list you as the supervisor, please contact Human Resources to make the appropriate change if you should be the supervisor or contact the supervisor of the employee to make the request. If Workday correctly lists you as the supervisor, but the employee is not listed here, Information Technology Services will investigate the problem.

2. Select (click) on the Featured Item that represent the resource being requested.

3. If the request is for yourself, click the box next to Requesting for Self

4. If the request is for a student or a staff member that reports to you, click the associated magnifying glass icon (Image Modified) to search for them.

Note:  You will only be able to request a resource for an employee who has you as their manager.

5. Then enter the Expiration Date, and Reason for Request

Expiration date cannot exceed more than 1 year from current date.

6. Press Submit when done. You will not receive an email of submission, only of completion.

7. When the specified access to the network resource has been completed, you and/or the person who needs the access will receive an email notification via our ticketing system.
