NARCAN Nasal Spray (naloxone hydrochloride) is used to treat known or suspected opioid overdose. It is for use in the nose ONLY. Do not test or remove NARCAN Nasal Spray until ready to use. It can be used safely in adults and children.

  1. Identify Opioid Overdose and Check for Response

  2. Give NARCAN Nasal Spray

  3. Call for Emergency Medical Help, Evaluate, and Support

If the person does not respond after one dose, another dose may be given. NARCAN Nasal Spray may be dosed every two to three minutes, if available.
