Counseling & Psychological Services (C&PS)
Meet the Staff
Counseling & Psychological Services' clinical staff consists of State of Connecticut licensed mental health providers, Post-Doctoral Fellows and Interns. An operations assistant oversees the front desk reception, scheduling, and administrative functions. A health & wellness coordinator works with C&PS staff and other university staff to promote health and wellness on campus.
Counselors are trained in many modalities of therapy including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused Therapy, Brief Interpersonal Therapy, Strength-based Therapy, and Insight-oriented Therapy. Clinical staff members hold the following licenses: Psy.D., Ph.D., LPC, LCSW and LADC. Trainees are supervised by licensed members of the clinical staff with experience in supervision.
