Career Center Communications
Students should be on the lookout for important e-mails from Stags4Hire@fairfield.edu and careers@fairfield.edu about resources, upcoming career events and job and internship opportunities.
Career Closet
The Career Closet is available to students who would like to borrow professional attire for the Career Fair or other professional events. Contact the Career Center at 203-254-4081 or careers@fairfield.edu to schedule a time to visit the closet.
Career Counselors
Experienced Career Counselors are conveniently located in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Dolan School, and the Career Center. Counselors assist students with exploring majors and careers, developing resumes and cover letters, interview and networking skills, and internship and job search strategies. Career Peer Advisors
Students can virtually meet with trained Career Peer Advisors (CPAs) who can help create or update their resumes. Students can also print copies of their resume in the Career Center.
Employer Networking
The Career Center hosts a wide range of programs to assist students with career exploration and networking. Students can check Life@Fairfield and Stags4Hire for details about Career Fairs, Mock Interview Days, Sophomore Success, and Senior Launch. Employer events take place on campus at Info Sessions, Coffee Chats, and Lunch ‘n Learns and off campus on Stags in the City employer visits.
Vault
Vault (https://fairfield.vault.com), is an online site that students can use with their job and internship placement and career preparation needs whenever and wherever they want.
Interview Rooms
Students can reserve a private interview room in Interview Alley in the Kelley Center. These rooms can be used for in-person, phone, or virtual interviews. Students can contact the Career Center at 203-254-4081 or careers@fairfield.edu to make a reservation. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interview Prep
InterviewPrep (https://fairfield.interviewprep.app) helps students prepare for job interviews. Students can practice whenever and wherever, watch, assess and share interviews, choose from thousands of questions, see and hear themselves online, and get expert advice on-demand.
LinkedIn Photo Booth
Students can have a professional-looking photo taken to create or update their LinkedIn profile. Students should contact the Career Center at 203-254-4081 or careers@fairfield.edu to schedule an appointment.
Liquid Compass
Liquid Compass (liquidcompass.com/institutions/fairfieldnursing) is a powerful job search tool to find healthcare jobs. Students can search a comprehensive national database of jobs that fit their criteria such as specialty, employer, and location. Students can apply, save searches, and set job alerts.
Resume Printing
Students can contact the Career Center at careers@fairfield.edu during business hours to arrange to have their resume printed on quality stationery.
Stags4Hire
Visit Stags4Hire regularly to learn about and apply for excellent job and internship opportunities with regional and national organizations! To activate or update your account, visit my.Fairfield.edu and select the Stags4Hire icon.
