These email limits, however have restricted student-facing communications from within our schools and colleges. After conversations across ITS and Marketing. a solution was identified. ITS can create an Email Resource Account or use a pre-existing resource account for each school interested in communicating via email with more than 100 students per hour. Example, Engineering Communication engineeringcomm@fairfield.edu (similar to the University Announcements announce@fairfield.edu account).
These resource accounts will require approval from the Dean or Department Head with a review by ITS and Marketing.
ITS needs a formal request and a specific individual within your school to act as the resource account administratormanager. To submit the request, please submit a ticket to itshelpesk@fairfield.edu.
