Duo 2FA (Multi-Factor Authentication)

Passwords are weak and relatively easy to steal. Using two-factor technology makes it exponentially more difficult to gain access to your account and your information. Next generation two-factor authentication are much easier to use than past solutions. Most of the time it's just clicking 'OK' to a prompt on your phone. It's for this reason IT Security at Fairfield University strongly recommends utilizing DUO two-factor authentication for all remote access and certain on-campus solutions. Below are the guidelines of how and when to use Duo two-factor authentication (2FA).
