Known Issue - “Undefined Link” for Kaltura Video Assignments

After submitting the assignment, instead of embedding the video the submission includes an Undefined Students can review any assignment submissions after clicking submit. For video assignments, when students click on “View Submission” to review their post and see their grades and feedback, their submission has an Undefined Link instead of the video player.

Instructors can still see the embedded video even though students are only able to see the undefined link.

While ITS worked with Blackboard and Kaltura Support to address this as quickly as possible, we have put together alternative steps to follow:

1. Go to https://fairfield.mediaspace.kaltura.com

2. Sign In (button in the top right)

3. Click the profile icon (person in the top right after signing in) and select My Media

4. Click on the video (or record new)

5. Click Share

6. Copy the URL and post the URL in the assignment text editor.
