Additional Information

  • Requests for NetID accounts for non-employees must be submitted by a Fairfield University manager or higher-level employee.

  • Accounts for non-employees are to be used for business purposes only and may be restricted to actual working hours and specific work locations.
  • Please note that accounts will be disabled on the end date requested (1-year maximum)
but can be renewed.
  • .  If an extension is needed, follow these instructionsAccounts and associated data will be deleted 1 month after the final expiration date.
  • If the
applicant

for you
  • before the specified end date
specified, it is the manager’s responsibility to contact the Help Desk as soon as possible to remove their computer access

  1. Log on to the NetIQ Identity Manager UserApp.

  3. Fill out the Non-Employee NetID Creation Request form completely, beginning with the non-employee's personal information. Required fields are noted with an asterisk and listed below.

    1. Legal First Name & Last Name

      Warning

      Nicknames are not permitted.


    2. Gender (Female/Male)
    3. Date of Birthday (mm/dd/yyyy)

      Warning

      Birthdate validated from one of the following (which may be requested during the approval process):

      • Driver's License
      • Passport
      • Other government-issued form of ID


    4. Home City, State, and Zip Code

      Warning

      If the applicant lives in a country that does not use a zip/postal code, please enter 5 zero’s (00000).


    5. Primary Phone
    6. Primary Email
    7. End Date (Max one (1) year)
    8. Work Location (Building/Room/Extension)

      Warning

      Enter "N/A" if the applicant(s) will not have a specific University phone number/building/room on campus.
