Apple released its operating system (macOS Sequoia) for Apple computers this fall. ITS has reviewed this operating system and is recommending that users upgrade. After upgrading to macOS Sequoia you may see a window for Apple Intelligence and/or a Welcome to Mac screen (click Continue at the bottom).
As always, please back-up all important data prior to upgrading and check for specific application compatibility
If your Mac is not compatible with Sonoma macOS (does not show as an option in Software Update) please upgrade to the latest macOS your system is compatible with.
For best security ITS recommends updating to the latest OS your device is compatible with.
