Office 365 is free to University Faculty, Staff, and Active Students.
*Skype for Business and Exchange for Office 365 are not enabled.
Faculty and Staff
Office 365 is currently limited to use with iPads for Faculty and Staff. See Microsoft Office for iPads
Please note, however, that these accounts do not come with any support from ITS. They are being offered so that users can use the Office apps to their fullest without the cost of a subscription.
The use of Office 365 for use with University computers is prohibited at this time. Staff and Faculty are allowed to use Office 365 on personal machines ONLY. Please note that this license will expire if they leave the University. If they would like a permeant license, please acquire a copy of Office 2016 for Windows or Office 2016 for Mac using OntheHub
For Students
Office 365 is currently available for the duration of your time as a student at the university. For more information, click here.
There are 3 ways to log into Office 365 for Fairfield University:
- Go to office365.fairfield.edu and use your NetID and current password to login.
- Go to portal.office.com and put your Office 365 username (NetID@fairfield.edu) in the email field. You will be redirected to Fairfield University login page.
- In an Office app, click "Sign In", and enter your NetID@fairfield.edu. You will be redirected to Fairfield University Single Sign-On page. Enter only your NetID (remove the @fairfield.edu) and your current password.
