Terminate or Extend Non-Employee Access

This workflow allows the manager on file of a non-employee to either change the expiration date or immediately terminate any/all university access.

When a non-employee ends their engagement with the university you must contact Human Resources to terminate their Workday Account.


Directions

1. Log on to the NetIQ Identity Manager UserApp at:   

Please note that this website is only accessible while on-campus or using VPN.

2. Select (click) on the 'Terminate or Extend' button.

3.  Click on the magnify glass icon to view non-employees who report to you. 

If you are not the official manager of the non-employee, they will not be listed.  Open a Help Desk ticket to determine the manger of non-employee.

Please note that you will see current as well as previously terminated non-employees (end date is in the past) to give you the option to re-enable their access.  

*To re-hire a non-employee submit a new non-employee request, and note it is a re-hire in the Reason text field.*

Terminate:  Enter yesterday's date in the "Select the New End Date" area to immediately end the access of the non-employee.  See note above regarding contacting Human Resources to terminate Workday account.

Extend:  Enter a new end date in the "Select the New End Date" area to extend a non-employee's access for up to one year.  

4.  Press the Submit button when the form is completed.
